New sea life artworks

It’s been a while since my last post, and my only excuse is that I’ve been busy juggling a lot of things really. I have been working on a few projects along the children’s book commission. And it is moving along nicely.

i have been working on a few sea life illustrations lately and today I finally got to finish the painting of the boat from Greece. It has only taken me some five or six months to complete, and that is the longest I’ve spent on one picture. It’s larger than the ones I usually create, and wanted to be in the right mood when working on it. And that is why I have been working on some other illustrations in between.

Boats in Greece – watercolour and acrylics

Got to figure out what to paint next now, it might be another car- or boat picture. Will see what pops up in my creative mind.

Well, this is my updates this week, I hope to be back soon with more updates and progress of my work.

Have a great week!

Stop and Smell the Roses!

Stop and smell the roses

This illustration came to life earlier today, I kind of found myself being in an inspirational mood. I think that in these times, we often get caught up in all the have too’s that we are facing on a daily basis. At least I do. And sometimes we get to a point where we wonder what we are doing and where we are going.

Does it sound familiar? Bet it does to most of you.

It is important to sometimes just simply STOP and SMELL the ROSES!

This illustration is available as prints and for a limited time I am running a little promotion were I am offering 90% on all prints. Please, click the following link: http://fineartamerica.com/featured/smell-the-roses-eva-ason.html and use this discount CODE: NHVTGF
