It’s been a while since my last post, and my only excuse is that I’ve been busy juggling a lot of things really. I have been working on a few projects along the children’s book commission. And it is moving along nicely.
i have been working on a few sea life illustrations lately and today I finally got to finish the painting of the boat from Greece. It has only taken me some five or six months to complete, and that is the longest I’ve spent on one picture. It’s larger than the ones I usually create, and wanted to be in the right mood when working on it. And that is why I have been working on some other illustrations in between.
Sea shells & starfish, Derwent inktense pencils, ink and acrylics
Stop and smell the roses – Derwent inktense pencils and ink.
Beach – inktense pencils
Boats in Greece – watercolour and acrylics
Got to figure out what to paint next now, it might be another car- or boat picture. Will see what pops up in my creative mind.
Well, this is my updates this week, I hope to be back soon with more updates and progress of my work.
Have a great week!
