New sea life artworks

It’s been a while since my last post, and my only excuse is that I’ve been busy juggling a lot of things really. I have been working on a few projects along the children’s book commission. And it is moving along nicely.

i have been working on a few sea life illustrations lately and today I finally got to finish the painting of the boat from Greece. It has only taken me some five or six months to complete, and that is the longest I’ve spent on one picture. It’s larger than the ones I usually create, and wanted to be in the right mood when working on it. And that is why I have been working on some other illustrations in between.

Boats in Greece – watercolour and acrylics

Got to figure out what to paint next now, it might be another car- or boat picture. Will see what pops up in my creative mind.

Well, this is my updates this week, I hope to be back soon with more updates and progress of my work.

Have a great week!

  1. Hi Eva, Great group of illustrations… I love the beach ones –since we just returned from several days at the beach… BUT–my favorite today is the ROSES one–since I love love love Roses –and I do ‘stop and smell the roses’ these days for sure.

    Hugs,
    Betsy

  2. Dearest Eva,
You have been very productive! Love those inktense pencils; great looking results.
I too am fighting with the time… can’t get it all done and the year is almost halfway over. When we will have the longest day of the year, it will be winding down rather fast.
    Sending you hugs and blessings,
    Mariette

Why is that happening over and over?
